So when is a good time to get your newborn portraits?  Many say that it is best between 5 to 10 days old. 

If you are wanting newborn session, I would recommend locating a professional photographer several months in advance before your due date. 

But what about those moms who where unable to get their babies in for their sessions because of a wide range of reasons. 

So with everything you have in your life at this point, you shouldn't stress about this.  You can get a portrait at any time.  No worries. 

First things first - You should take care of yourself and your baby and sometimes waiting will be the right answer for you.

Of course, your baby may not be able to be posed in many of the trendy newborn poses, but in reality not all newborns can be in these poses anyway.

So again this is nothing to be stressed about. 

There are many poses that your baby can be in and regardless you want to capture this moment in time so your baby's images will all be amazing.  The cuteness will be there regardless their age.

Additional photo sessions are the "First year milestone" of your baby's life. 

These are important moments to capture. 

These sessions can be from the following:

• 3 to 4 months
• 6 - 9 months
• One year birthday

This way you will have a nice collection of your precious little one and this can make an amazing gallery wall.
